Birla Evara is the residential development born out of a landmark joint venture between Birla Estates and Japan's Mitsubishi Estate Co. Ltd. (MEC). Birla Estates, a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Real Estate Ltd, has partnered with Mitsubishi Estate Co Ltd (MEC) to develop a residential project in Bengaluru through a Rs 560 crore investment via a special purpose vehicle (SPV). This venture marks MEC's first foray into India's residential real estate market. The joint venture between Birla Estates and MJR Investment Pte Ltd (MIPL), an MEC affiliate, holds economic interests of 51% and 49% respectively in the SPV, which is tasked with developing a premium residential project covering 40 lakh square feet of built-up area.
The project sits on a large land parcel off Sarjapur Road in East Bangalore. Birla Evara is a new-age Apartment Township project by Birla Estates, strategically located in Kodathi, off Sarjapur Road, East Bangalore, set on 25 acres with 13 high-rise Towers offering 1,594 apartments. The apartments are available as 1, 2, 3, 3.5, and 4 BHK units with floor sizes of 449 sq ft to 1630 sq ft.
Design and sustainability are central to the project. Designed by the world-renowned architectural firm Broadway Malyan, Birla Evara sets a new benchmark for sustainable community living in Sarjapur.
